Sunset Hill Campground is a seasonal campground located at beautiful Sunset Hill Farm County Park. Currently, our campground can accommodate large groups as well as small, individual campsites.

The campground is located adjacent to the trail network at Sunset Hill Farm County Park, just off 700 North. There are miles of hiking trails located within the park and farm animals to visit.

General Information

We have individual tent campsite reservations only. We are no longer allowing camping in the open field in the campground.
The campground has primitive toilets and electric is not available.
All campsite(s) are walk-in tent only. Camping via RV, cars, and trailers is not allowed.
Each campsite has its own fire area and a picnic table. Select sites have bench seating around the fire. Please see photos below, which have numbered sites.
Trash service is not available; garbage must be packed out.
There is an additional fire pit with seating for groups.

Is there a check in or check out time?

We do not have a physical check-in at the campground for individual campsite rentals, but you may arrive any time after 1pm on the first day and you can depart your campsite any time before 11am on your final day.

Is there electricity or running water?

There is currently no electricity or running water near the campground. You can access water in the main part of Sunset Hill Farm Park, near the main entrance.

What are the bathrooms like?

We have group campground bathroom facilities that are very primitive latrines. We do not have shower facilities at this time.

What does each individual campsite include?

Each campsite has space to fit two tents comfortably, and it includes a picnic table and fire pit. Firewood is available for use near the group campground fire pit.

Can we bring multiple vehicles?

We suggest only bringing one or two vehicles to the campgrounds. There is a small gravel parking lot in the campground, and then you can walk to your individual campsite. RVs are not allowed.
