Here in Porter County, we have a variety of great opportunities that will help you make the most of the natural beauty of our area and everything else we have to offer. Whether you want to go out and enjoy the great outdoors, be inspired by nature and see it grow on canvas or fire up the imagination of your students in class (or out!) - There is a recreation program for all occasions. Porter County Parks and Recreation has something for everyone.

The mission of the Porter County Parks and Recreation Board and Department is to preserve, protect and manage the natural, cultural and recreational resources within a diverse park system.

Camp FUNset is our annual summer camp, held outdoors in beautiful Sunset Hill Farm Park. Every camp has its unique character and influence. Camp FUNset seeks to provide a maximum opportunity for fun and growth in an outdoor setting. We take pride in being a part of the growth and development year after year of what is now 25% of the population, but 100% of the future! We build our programming to promote crucial life skills for future leaders.
