August 29 - October 17, boys and girls ages 4-12 of all skill levels are welcome to participate on the Porter County Parks Cross Country team! Participants will have the opportunity to run varying distances at practice through the campground and trails at Sunset Hill. Children will run with youngsters their own age, with boys and girls in separate divisions. We will compete against the Valparaiso YMCA and the Valpo Parks Department. Meets are tentatively scheduled for Saturdays, September 29 and October 6, 13, 20.  

The Sept 29 and Oct 6 meets are held at Rogers Lakewood Park.  The Sept 13 and 20 meets are held at the Sunset Hill Campground.
